Superior View Assisted Living was orginally started along side Innovative Living Inc. Innovative Living has been serving the non-independent population since 1997. The assisted living branch of the company, Superior View Assisted Living, has been developed to work with the elderly non-independent population. Superior View Assisted Living is a residential setting for seniors. We focus on providing individual care for those with Dementia, Alzheimers, stroke and other medical conditions.
Superior View Assisted Living is located in the Twin Ports region of Minnesota. We are a fully licensed assisted living facility by the State of Minnesota. We are happy to provide a comfortable home-like atmosphere and are fully handicapped accessible. Superior View is staffed by certified nursing assistants 24 hours a day and with awake staff at night. We care for seniors whom for one reason or another can no longer live safely in their own home environment. Superior View Assisted Living offers indepth quality cares in a small setting. A small setting is a very good alternative to a nursing home or long term care facility.
Quality Care
We, at Superior View Assisted Living, feel strongly to provide a continuity of care for our residents. Meaning, the plan given by their doctor is continued and implemented to their own "plan of care". We consider each resident to be an individual. A plan of care is fully developed with the input of the individual, family members, direct care staff, and our nursing staff. Superior View is a family owned business. It is important to us that our residents and family members, feel comfortable approaching our President and admistration with any concerns or questions.
Superior View Assisted Living has an average resident to staff ratio of 4 to 1. We are easily able to handle the indepth cares that some individuals may require.
Health Care
Superior View Assisted Living believes that access and use of quality medical care is imperative to the needs of our residents. This is why our residents have access to our medical director, Dr. Heinitz and also physician, Dr. Tomac. These physicians make rounds at our facility on a monthly basis. Yes, believe it or not, some doctors still make house calls! We feel honored and privileged to work along with such great physicians such as Dr. Heinitz and Dr. Tomac.
If our residents choose to see one of our physicians, some of their appointments can be fullfilled while they are in the comfort of their own home. This is a a wonderful way to still have the residents needs met, without having to go to the medical clinic. Those residents who wish to continue their care with their own physician, need not worry. Superior View Assisted Living will work as closely as possible with the resident's physician to ensure all medical needs and concerns are met. Transportation is also not a concern. Superior View Assisted Living will not only provide transportation to the resident's appointment, but also attend the appointment with the resident as well.
